Representatives of Scarborough Group International celebrated success last night (Thursday 30 September 2021) as we were crowned ‘Developer of the Year’ at the Yorkshire Property Industry Awards 2021.
Held at the Royal Armouries Museum in Leeds and hosted by Insider Media, The event celebrates the businesses and individuals who are shaping Yorkshire’s built environment and have helped the region become a hotspot for investment.
The ‘Developer of the Year’ award highlights our unwavering commitment to the Northern Powerhouse through our ‘Keep Building’ ethos, which saw us press ahead with over 300,000 sq ft of new development at Thorpe Park Leeds, Sheffield Digital Campus and Sheffield Olympic Legacy Park, as well as unveiling plans for the next phase of development at Middlewood Locks in Salford.
In February 2021 this commitment paid off when we announced our ground-breaking pre-let at Thorpe Park Leeds to leading credit management company, Lowell which, at 133,118 sq ft, is the largest single out of down office deal ever recorded in Leeds and the biggest office transaction within the Northern Powerhouse region over the last twelve months.
